Rob is completely right. It would just take too long to implement these nice bits. The board is just not built to support these advanced queries. ST-RS has the snazzy bits. This board will be upgraded eventually but at the end of 2010 it was decided it should stay the same... I may re-address this in 2012.

Absolutely! My current mob was £9.99 from Argos, credit card size, 7 day battery life..

If you have my number, you can call me from many places in the world, and get this, i can call you.

The best is..... I can send & recieve txt's.

Ohh, and i think it takes pics & vids.

JOB DONE.

My boss at work uses a nokia 3310...yes seriously he uses a Nokia 3310

he has a blackberry but has no idea how to work the calls and texts and he uses it as a warning when he gets emails so his inbox on it has like 30000 unread emails he just uses it to make a sound when he gets an email and gets his laptop out to read it.

Aboslute nutter!

3310's are indestructible though. No matter how many times you drop it they wont break!

I think can just about beat that. I dropped my 3310 in the toilet once and obviously had to rinse it under the tap. Although the screen went all funny initally once it dried off it worked fine.

We used to throw them around like tennis balls at school, they'd hit the floor and disintegrate but once we'd but them back together they worked fine You must have had the bad one

My one once fell out my pocket on the 5th flight of stairs at college and went down the center of the banister and hit the bottom flight rail before the covers, battery flying out around the bottom of the stairs. It actually worked fine and I didn't even smash the screen... no idea how it survived but was very pleased.
