just popped to garage on way there it start's whineing then gets louder and louder then starts getting hard to change gear then wont go into gear manage to get it home to find hydralic fluid p***sing out the buttom of the gearbox and one of the pipes that enter the gearbox smokeing any ideas .
just had a lil search and think it could be clutch release bearing i have no preassure on the cluch at all when switched off and when started and cannot select any gear's.
Mate who work's for ford's is fixing it slave cylinder 55 quid and clutch 120 thats trade prices by the way thort i would have the cluch done as the gearbox has to come off to fit the slave cylinder btw it's only done 48'000 but my mate say's they are common problem with the d5 gearbox witch alot of ford motours use not just tye st.
