Not sure on attending this year, absolutely ridiculous ticket prices now, plus with the price of petrol, depends on the house I guess, as said before driving 20miles past silverstone is a pain in the arse

What about actually meeting up in silverstone town opposite side of the dual carriageway?

As per Steve, if anyone wishes to pay for their ticket to be sent out I'm more than willing to do this. Until I can work out a way of arriving at Silverstone from two different directions at once I'll have to keep the handout arrangements as they've been.

I'd think I'd need someone to volunteer to test how easy it is to get to either of those, and then to the circuit itself, on a day when there's another event at Silverstone, as I know they change a lot of the road layouts on event days.

Not wanting to be difficult, but it does add an hour on to the journey times and a gallon or so of fuel

I understand it's awkward for people which is why I've offerred to post the tickets out. Ideally I would like to be able to hand the tickets out nearer, but it's a case of finding out if this is feasible. As we know from past experience the queues are much longer getting into Silverstone than they are for FITP which is why we have to be certain that we won't have a problem if we try to stop nearby.

I'll be going! but this time I think I will stay over somewhere as a three and a half hour journey both ways is a bit tiring to say the least.

you can do group bookings at travel lodges you can get a disscount if you book into so many people.

i went to a wedding in scotland and the groom booked 56 rooms for us all literatly was the talk of the day how much it was, grow ups with their chatter chatter chatter....

I just wanted to talk about banging the bride....she was HOT non-related obviously

Dan you seriously cant be telling me that you and Emma have not slept together with Julie....Shame on you! one woman should be enough!
