Hello ST owners (and everyone else of-course )

I have had my ST for around 3-4 weeks now and racked up 700 miles. Its a performance blue 55 plate (old style) with no extra options. Sadly one of the wheels is already kerbed by a member of my family! I'm from the west yorkshire area btw.

Does anyone know how many fiesta ST's there are in the UK? I have seen around 10 in my area but they seem quite rare!

I have no idea how many ST's there are in the UK, but they are obviously a lot more common in Yorkshire 'cause I have only seen two in Gloucestershire. I have seen far more Bentley Continental GT's than ST's!

Hi Chris,

I see two performance blue ones and there red ones near where I work all the time! Saw a white one with red stripes outside Llodys no 1 in Huddersfield yesterday. Must be popular up here!

A lot of people have had them repaired so wil give you some good advice, i know one of the mods pinkrinse has had it done a few times, i'm sure she will post you some details at some point. This is the trouble with having such low profile tyres, every little touch marks the alloy

Sorry to hear that you've aready had one of your alloys kerbed, but like Chris says, with the low profile tyres it is VERY difficult not to do so at one point.

Thanks Mate Theres so many Chris's on here tonight! I was more bothered about the alloy than the stone chips on the bonet but I guess it can't be helped . Knowing my luck, i'd get it refurbed and something will happen to it again! Maybe I could change the width of the tyre when I replace them to protect them but i'm not sure if it would look okay.

Sorry to hear that you curbed your alloy... i did the same to my 18"... makes u feel sick!!!

There are a few members up there!!! The white with the red stripes might be the one we have picture of on another thread, cant remember which thread but it could be the one.

Thanks Scotty I can't find the thread either but I can remember a post about one. I guess the stripes are them off ebay. The seats were also red on this particular ST too.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about the alloy, I'm sure you can get them repaired for about £50. I curbed my Foci on the way back from the dealers, I was on the verge of tears.

Anyway, this is a very friendly and helpful site. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Don't think I will go near any Kerbs. Parking bays only for me.
