Ejected a CD from my standard 6CD multi-changer last night and then tried to load into the same slot a few seconds after.

Now the player is saying it has a CD in slot 5 (even though it hasn't because i took it out), but it wont load the new CD and now it wont even play or select the other CD's

Every time I unlock the car it starts making this whirring noise like it's trying to play a CD that isn't there and can't figure out how to stop it??

Tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then entering the code but it's still doing it

Any help would be massively appreciated guys
