This is a really off the wall question but I was wondering if anyone can tell me roughly how many miles the ST is capable of once on it's very last 'Half Blob' of fuel on the digital display? Driven economically that is...

I do not live near many Petrol stations so its handy to know what the cars radius is when this low on fuel.

Yeah I always wanted to know how much fuel I had left in my old Fezzy. Those bars are bloody annoying.
Thank god Ford have sorted it out in the new car, they now have a miles to empty which is a god send

In my old Fiesta Ambiente (03) the gas light came on when I had 7 liters worth left. In my ST (facelift) I have close to 10 liters left (i think the trip computer is not all that accurate).

When I've filled it up with the last bar remaining and the fuel warning light on I get about 40/41 litres in it. So out of a 45 litre tank that equates to roughly 1 gallon remaining ie. cautiously being 25 to 30 miles worth of petrol left.

Yeh I'd say with one mini bar left you've got 15-20 miles left

im sure my fuel warning light is knackered as i managed to put 42 litres in yesterday and the fuel gauge was reading as the v.last line / bar...but no fuel warning light!!!! very strange! hmmm!

I've driven for about 30 miles after the last bar has dissappeared with no probs.

A good game to play with the facelift is see how low you can get the 'Miles until empty' guage to go. I ran out of nerve when it said 12 miles to go. Anyone else been braver?

my 1.4 zectec love wagon has given me 50 miles after the last light has gone out.. i hear the fiesta's (all engine sizes) fuel tank has a reserve..

I think the ST will probably do a little less... hope this helps...

Thanks all, Well I managed to make it to work in the end (20 Miles) starting the journey with petrol light on and only one tiny bar left, I was getting very nervous as it was dual carriageway all the way with not that many places to stop if I had an issue... So I can definately confirm that the ST is able to travel 20 miles on the last bar on the gauge

I was in Yorkshire last year, on the moors, and as I'm a tight arse as far petrol is concerned, I stupidly passed a few petrol stations to find a cheaper one (at the time petrol was about £1 a litre). When the light came on, I managed to get over 35 miles out of the car when I found a petrol station! Had my AA card at the ready in case I ran out!

Bloody paid £102.9 for litre though!

You should be ok for about 30ish miles, depending on your driving.

This is the bravest that I have been! (couldn't comment on the mileage though!)

Just 1 litre to go??!! Jesus, by my reckoning thats 5 to 6 miles left at the most!!!. Brave man!

Dont know how much i have got left in the tank but the red light has been on for about 15 miles and i have managed to get 305 miles from a tank i thought that was quite impressive
