Well ive been after this for a while and think ive found the answer you will need the following


Sony DAB 6 disc changer stereo

Ford nokia Voice Activated Module BT/VC Phone Interface + USB Connect
MUST SAY 8M5T-19C112

IP Cable BT/VC Phone Interface + USB Connect



How to check your Sony headunits

Turn the radio on
Press and hold 1 & 6
make a note of your version number.

if it begins with 4. something it wont be compatible,

if it is anything like these below then those will all be compatible

v05.03.01
v05.03.02
v05.03.03
v05.04.01 - this was being installed as of may 2008..


so im now on the hunt for the above bits if i go to ford il pay through the nose so im looking at breakers yards for the bits

wouldn't it be a whole lot easier to buy an aftermarket stereo with bluetooth?
will most likely be cheaper too

I do like the idea of it looking like standard kit though rather than aftermarket parts.

it maybe be cheaper but i really like the look of the sony headunit and i dont like how the aftermarket units sit im hoping to get all the parts for about £200 and then sell my sony headunit for about £150 so if you think its only going to cost me about £50

I've got wireless BT music from my iPhone 4 in the Focus. It's soooo cool

I doubt whether the Focus radio would be anywhere near the same as the ST radio...

They look the same as the Sony player in Ford's but I think the RS has the latest version with all the trimmings. Sorry forgot to look at the version!

im like 98% sure that i could get bluetooth streaming in my st just need either

a new dab stereo

a update to a newer firmware on mine

and a bt/vt/usb module from a 2008/2009 onwards car

just rang ford for a giggly and they want £250 for the module from them what a joke

ive contacted lots of breaker yards and ads on ebay and they should be a shame to call them selfs breakers as dont have a clue

so my search goes on hope ford parts uk will be alittle cheaper

fords parts uk where cheaper but not by much

ive managed to get a bt/vc/usb module finger crossed for £110 posted just need the stereo now and a couple of ramdom cables which il just get from fraud
