This seems the best site to get them from http://www.hids4u.co.uk/?gclid=CL-owfbSnqoCFUwc4QodjTcK7A bit pricey but STRATHY discount code get you about 30% off (if its still active)

Here are mine, they're the HIDS4U.co.uk H4 ProPlus Bi-Xenon HID kit:

These are when I only had one fitted (to show comparison with standard)...

And the finished result!

Yeah mate, the ones you linked are the ones I got http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/supervision-50w-h43-hilo-beam-kits-p-281.html , 50w not 55w! The fogs were just white bulbs in a pack off ebay with sidelights etc!

Yes, they are the ones I got although I bought mine second and through ebay.

I'm not absolutely 100% sure on this, but I understand the 55w/50w ones require a wire running to the battery.

The 35w ones from HIDS4U power themselves through the supply to the normal bulb. All I can say is mine were an absolute piece of p*** to fit, extremely neat and tidy with no additional wiring except that supplied.

The ones you linked to will do both the high beam and normal beam through the ballast so no problems there.

If you want to do your fog lights as true HIDS (I want to do mine) then you will need the H11 kit as well, although you could just use the white looking bulbs like Smith suggested:

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h11-xenon-hid-conversion-kits/

Not exactly cheap though for fogs that I use once every 6 months.

All you do is unscrew the battery leads, slip on a ring connector and tighten them up again! Takes 2 minutes.

Yep, I imagine it is dead easy to do, I would have probably gone for 50w+ had I not got my set amazingly cheap off ebay. I know some people arn't keen on hiding an extra wire in the engine bay or don't dare touch anything they don't need to, etc.

I'd like to compare my 35w with someone with the 50w's at some point, will you be at FordFair pal?

Sorry to semi hijack the thread but I didn't see the point in starting another HID thread for one question. I am considering HIDs myself I was just wondering if you have to leave off the rubber back plate from the lights to enable the cable to fit?

Thanks,

Chris
