Hi guys. I finally got the time to install my GGR and I have problems. It seems to me that they cut the silicone 45 degree piece to short cos I'm unable to stretch it from TB to the filter to fit properly :-(. Some advice please.

that's just my luck. I've waited like 2 months to install this cos I didn't have the free time and now I can't finish while on holiday :-(. I just hope they will send me another piece otherwise I need to spend extra cash .

They are a bugger to fit!


Once you use it for a while the silicone 'loosens up' and becomes softer from the engine heat and you can mould it a bit better as time goes by!

I still don't think mine is right. look at these photos. It looks all cut wrong :













still no reply from GGR. I'm thinking of getting this elbow if they don't reply to me soon:

Yeah does look cut a bit wrong in places

My airbox hose on my RS isn't perfect

I called today GGR in UK and spoke with the guy. He told me that they had a whole batch of wrongly cut elbows and he is sending a new one ASAP .
He even asked me if I want another color wich was a surprise to me cos I didn't know you can get it in different color. I asked for a red one so it matches my other hoses,...
GGR .
