I was looking forward to reading the new brochure i heard is being delivered to dealerships any time now, and so decided to nip down to Allen Ford, Coventry...
"any information about the new fiesta ST available??"
"umm, yes we have a brochure, here you go"
I took the small 3 page leaflet and sighed as it was the same one i recieved months ago.
"so when do you think there will be more info available?"
"not for a while yet, don't think you'll be able to purchase an ST or Zetec-S until around March next year..."

what a bunch of jokers. I mean i have a more accurate idea of the release of a ford car than the dealership - obviously the cars will be out sooner (some of you have placed orders already)

I felt like saying this, but the thicko expression this guy was wearing from the beginning of our conversation told me more talk would be fruitless.

I know all ford dealers aren't the same but the one nearest me is pants .
Never mind i popped into a Seat dealership on the way back and was offered a brand new Seat Ibiza FR 1.9 TDI 130 bhp for £11950 (with climate control!) tempting....

This garage is less than a mile from where I work!
I don't buy or take my cars there, ever.

I was going to go to that Seat dealer but it's a nightmare to turn into on that stretch of road isn't it.

I don't bother with Ford Coventry either, and went to CD Brammals Leicester to get my fiesta but I can't exactly pop there every time i want some trivial information, its a shame their all so inept .

I'd head towards Stratford from coventry, anywhere where there isn't an Allen Ford. The attitude all of their sales people at the dealerships I've been to (Rugby, Coventry, Northampton) have been rude, arrogant, agressive and uninformed.

I bought my first RS there, but haven't been back since!

The Stratford dealership is almost next door to where I work. So please do pop in and say hello if you're going there! Haven't used them yet because they didn't seem to know much about the Focus RS last year. Although I am considering taking my current car there for it's first service.

How seriously did they take you Dave when you went in? They looked at me like I was out for a joyride and that was only for a Fiesta.

I was talking to this guy about the Focus RS, and then I just said "Right, I'll have one then please mate". He almost did a backflip over the back of his seat. It was brilliant seeing the look on his face change totally in an instant!

Lol, my local allen ford is just bout 300metre's from my work, however i don't think i shall be purchasing my ST from any Allen Ford, unless they give me a good discount or summin! There all a bunch of Pillocks really!

Rens and I are going to a dealer and ask for extra discount because we might want to order 2 at the same time....let`s see if it works...

perhaps we could all meet up and order 10 or 15 together! ! bet we'd have a discount then!

We could even ring around dealerships telling them of our plan and see who will give the best deal if we ordered that many.
