Well Tried having a go with out the G-clamp. Now waiting for the grandad to drop the G-Clamp off

to be honest you can use a pry bar or similar, angled across to wedge the piston in to the caliper... if you're desperate

Ive got 2 avon zz3s on but isnt that the same as just getting replacement tyres on any car so you dont have to inform them?

So you just replaced brake pads... Just a consumable...

Same as spark plugs, belts, oil filters

If you have massive brake upgrade it's a bit different, putting bigger discs on

Well back brake pads went so just been trying to do them tonight. Was a right bugger trying to forces them off due to disks being buggered from wear.

Anyway, probably a daft question but what are you suppose to do with those scissor clips on the rear pads? I would normally look and copy but with having to force and bang the caliper/pads off of the buggered disks, the pads have fell out straight away so didn't get chance to see how they clip in/out...

Im on my phone at the moment so cant get a picture up.

But on the rear pads you get them metal clips sticking out which stop the rear pads from rattling, im just struggling on how to slot them into the caliper?
