Right as many of you are aware you can't get buy a badgeless grille off the shelf...so the only option is to get one made up! This can be expensive or you can DIY it and fail!

I have had an idea...

If you take a standard grille and cut the middle out but leave the outside frame.

So then you have an empty middle bit.

With this you put some mesh in and either screw or glue it on to the frame.

Thus making a badgeless grille!

Thoughts?

p.s the mesh you be sprayed black and not look chav tastic!

Seems like a lot of work pal. But everyone likes different stuff!

I personally prefer grills with badges.

Imo I think it will look abit chavy jack p is tryin to make one and I'm trying to find a grill cheap enuf to try the same thing aswel

You need to plastic weld the mesh in the space of where the ford badge would be using the mesh from another grille!

I saw an /zetec s in a scrap yard the other day, could prob buy the grill cheap from a place like that

Mik3 my dad said the same thing the other day, may seem easier gluing in a fresh but of grille to the outlay than plastic welding one in

And yeah as Lee said im currently trying to get the badgeless one for the Zetc models to fit...
