Hi,
Found this forum whilst searching around for Fiesta ST info. I am going to be buying a facelifted ST when I get back from my out of area detachment in July. I currently own a silver Octavia vRS which I love to bits but it is now not needed. We need to go down to being a one car family now as I hardly drive the Octy and my missus Micra is way too small and underpowered for us both!!! So looking forward to some pocket rocket action.

Hi there

Welcome to the site m8.

Glad that you've found us and I hope that you enjoy visting the site and posting any queries and comments that you have.

I'm sure that you will enjoy driving your ST when you get it in the summer, also a great time to get it when you can both go out and enjoy driving it! Although it is a long way off before you're getting your have you any idea yet about what spec you're looking to get?

If you have any probs on the site feel free to get in contact with one of the team (myself, Chris, FiestaRS and PinkRinse) by clicking on their name and sending them a private message.

Take care
ChrisC(mod)

Me and the missu are having colour dilemas lol Performance blue and moondust silver are the two colours we like. I am more swaying to silver as it is an easier colour to maintain (doesn't show those pesky swirl marks). But it's the coloured dash that is giving me the headache, red or blue dashboards WTF?!?!. We aren't getting the stripes. But we are gonna spec climate control, MP3 jack, ESP (still debating this)

Seems like it will take you until the summer to decide

Hi there, welcome to the site, you'll find loads of info on here.
I've just ordered mine in Moondust Silver, I think it looks great and as you say it's not as demanding as other colours.
As for the coloured dash, best to look at it "in the flesh" as the pics on the net aren't that accurate, then decide you still don't like it and order the leather seats with black dash
Many people will argue that ESP is pointless on the but anything that can stop you sliding into a ditch/tree/oncoming traffic is worth it IMO (plus you can switch it off when needed)

I haven't seen it other than in pics, looking at pics I don't like it but those that have seen it or have one say that it is less "in-yer-face" than it looks from photos. But like Gareth said, if you still don't like it you can have a black dash, provided you go for the option of full leather heated seats.

What people like me? lol. Like I've said before, although it might sound a crazy reason for not having it, the prob I have with it IS that you can turn it off - I'd find it too tempting to turn it off that often and would know that the one time I might need it it wouldn't be there.

I was refering more to the people who think the doesn't need it cos it's so sure footed and perhaps a tad underpowered to warrant ESP.
I'm gonna see how much it interfere's before I start turning it off. I see it a bit like ABS, you may never use it but the one time you do it could save your life, but as you say would be no good if switched off

I have sat in a facelift ST (perf blue with blue dash) and it really really isnt that obvious. Sure you can see it but its more of a "goes with the two tone seats" kind of thing. With a silver ST2, I'd go for the black or pewter dash
