Having a world of pain trying to remove my stereo- got the 4 pins and inserted them correctly but the thing just won't budge.

All I wanna do is connect an AUX in connector into the back- it's really frustrating.

Anyone else had problems with this or got any suggestions?

it does take a lot of force to get them out try and wiggle one side out 1st then hold it out with a screw driver, then try pulling the other side

I took mine out just recently! As dan says do one side at a time and you should have it free in no time. Make sure that when you release a side that you pull the keys inwards to the centre of the stereo as this pops the retaining clips outwards
