Another interesting note:

At ford fair I had a lengthy chat to a guy from Northampton Motorsport about the Fiesta ST on throttle bodies that they are building. He was telling me that they had a Milltek full system on at the moment (the standard 'evo' one, not the big bore) and were looking into changing it as soon as possible as it was too restrictive.

Lee, I suspect your powerflow catback may be helping somewhat. It does sound pretty beefy.

Also, Chris at the rolling road had a Piper exhaust system. Suggesting both of these are potentially better options than Milltek (just speculating here).

Wonder why Chris's mountune 185 uses Piper then?

Unless I misheard him at the rolling road. Pretty sure that's what he said though.

Hey,

Yeh my cams are definately piper, but when I looked through all the information that they left in the car there was a warrenty card for the exhaust which had piper written on the top! I showed this to Steve when I met him a few months back when we compared the 165 and 185 kits.

dunno why you would get a warranty card from piper for the exhaust when its a milltek lol unless they still make the manifold for them - which would make more sense.

the original setup was piper manifold, CLF exhaust(they went bust and hence now milltek do the exhaust) and piper cams.

i still have my original cams in there piper box, proberly should throw those out now
