So I ordered one of these Richbrook Ford Aerial it was a straight swap and I fitted it straight away. Turned the radio on and .. EXTREMELY weak reception if any at all.

Very disappointing as it looks great compared to the cane that's on there at the moment. Do I need to retune all my saved stations or anything?

Appreciate any help with this matter.

just the aerial is so small will never work as well as a the normal one.
just listen to cds

I've just ordered one of these the other day. Was hoping the reception would be ok but I don't listen to the radio anyway iPod all the way for me

I have the same issue. I always listen to Moyles in the morning on the way to work but the reception is poo.

i bought a small aerial and changed it back after 3 days, same issue

I find in all fords you have to have a massive aerial or you get no signal

I guess I'll just keep it for shows and meets, as the hassel involved to get a refund for £14 is barely worth it. It's a massive disapointment tbh, they shouldn't be allowed to sell an aerial that works the same as no aerial :P

Mine came in the post today. Opened it straight away old one off new one on. Took all of 30 seconds. Looks much better than the original item not sure how good the reception is though will try it in the morning
