im getting pissed off with knocking my rims because of the tyres thats on there.lol

any good tyres out there that also give good protection of the rims?

Avon zz3's! They have a special rubber lip which protects the outside of your wheels! I've got them all round and they're awesome

The tyres on the Porscshe have the lip on them, bloody huge Continental tyres. They are very very good, even survived a track day with me spanking it.

Alan don't expect anything big. They do help out and if you slowly reverse into a curb while parking you may not notice any damage thanks to your rim protectors but they won't be enough to stop damage from a decent hit. You still have to be xtra careful all the way

No matter what tyres you get mate, they'll never fully protect your rims.

Best advice, park so you need to catch a bus to the kerb.

my Toyo have a decent lip too.

my Uniroyals are XL that are meant to protect the rim, ive scratched my rims plenty.
mainly cause i suck at judging where my wheels are

Know how you feel mate i curbed all 4 unmarked wheels in the first week of having it!

Since having them refurbed back in january theyre still mint.....touchwood

Tyres will help a little but due to the low profile won't help much. Extra careful attention by curbs is required.
