Hi Guys,

I have a guy who can split and paint the front lights and I was just wondering what colours would look good. He has done the plastics on my car in gloss/satin black and they look amazing. Real professional job with a smooth factory finish. I was thinking just paint the grey bits the same black and leave the chrome colour surrounds. I've seen some cars with the chrome bits done in the same colour as the car (red/blue) and he says they look good when all black...so I'm not sure. Personally I like improving the look of the car but in a classy sort of way, not so much to highlight that it has been modded...so unless someone has some good pics to change my mind, I think I would avoid the black with blue surrounds look. I'd like to see a pic of an all black look though.

Does anyone have any pictures of cars with their lights done similar to anything I have described?

Thanks.

Yep, he's brilliant and a really nice guy as well. Did my plastics on a Monday night no fuss. And the quality of what he does is top notch...you wouldn't know it came out the factory any differently. Showed me a tonne a pics from other jobs he's done and there were some pretty awesome things in there. He can even do RS vents properly cut into the bonnet...although I think I'll pass on them for now. He does do some really nice front splitters though so probably snap up one of those and get my lights done black/chrome. I've also got a nasty scratch on the drivers side door and he got me a really good quote from his bodyshop...a lot less than what I've been quoted else where. In fact he mentioned you a bit and told me about all the stuff he's done on your car The painted interior parts look really good as well...didn't realise how much there is to be done!!

Thanks for the pics guys. Duff you car looks awesome. I am probably going to stick to the black/chrome lights but the blue does cool if you're going for that look.

Yeah he does do a fantatic job and on some of the things he has fitted I would not know where to start so always a big help there! Especially the centre part of the dash! I need to pop down and see him sometime soon with a few more bits and pieces! We should have a little mini meet sometime!
