Can anyone who does actually know how to use PS plse put a black screen on my bike plse.....................??

Im assuming its fairly easy, may be wrong tho, thx in advance

Yeh the trouble is the Powerbronze screens u linked to are not the right type but for a rough idea its a good 'un

Solid black i think, the new one will have a more pronounced bubble to make "fast" riding more comfortable coz over *cough mph it feels like my head is coming off atm

Black screen ftw! Red looks a bit 'flimsy' if that's the right word- like a cheap upgrade
If you can I'd also extend the black down to the v-shaped thing that sits below the screen so its all black at the front

The 'V' air vent is available in CF but it's bloody dear.........

It's gonna be a black screen I think although I'm trying to find a pic of the CF one fitted

Ben i'm only using gimp

Load the picture.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Select the bottom layer and adjust hue. It's under the colours tab at the top. By moving the hue tab will change colour. Don't worry you won't be able to see it yet so just move it all the way to the left.
Select the top layer and choose the eraser tool. Choose bruch type galaxy, big. Then erase the areas you want to change colour. Adjust tool size to suit. If you go over the edges hold 'alt' and delete the over spill.

Now re select the bottom layer and adjust the hue and saturation to the colour you want. Save as an image and your done. Save as a project .xcf and you can come back to it and change the colours at a future time.

I'm on photoshop trying what you said but when you change the hue it makes the picture all grainy and doesn't change the colour as well

no idea mate. Sure your on the right layers. Could be a preview, is it ok after you confirm the change?

Red screen looks cool but it think you might get bored of it after a while, so I'd go for black

Yes mate, thats the whole point in a "double bubble" screen, allows the rider to get behind it rather than have my head ripped off with the crazy low original

ahh, thought double bubble was just a name and didnt have a meaning

Makes a HUGE difference in "high speed" riding

Allthough your never goin that fast rob only on track

Thats what i was referring to of course, my Track day last week highlighted it
