...volunteer.
As you may or may not have read, I got some sideskirts but my colleague lost one of the jacking point covers.
Buying out here and getting sprayed would not be the cheapest option so I'm looking for someone who would be prepared to...

buy one for me in the uk (about £20 from fordpartsuk)
get it sprayed in the uk (preferably by Chris in blackpool)
send it over to me

Of course I will pay the costs to get it done

Any volunteers?

Only problem with this is the colour won't be an exact match mate

I will happily buy and send but a) i'm nowhere near Blackpool and b) not sure if I will get the time to get it sprayed (also no idea how much this will cost and whether a company will actually want to do it as it is such a small item and probably not worth their time if you see what I mean)

Is it not possible for you to phone up a ford dealership and ask how much they will charge? Then... send payment to someone near... and they will go pay.

If you phone through to any in Birmingham Bristol Street Motors (ford) on Bristol Street, Birmingham or Heartlands Ford, Kingsbury Road, Erdington, Birmingham. Then i really don't mind visiting the dealer and paying for you if you send funds over for it. I've had my rear 3/4 panel sprayed on my Silver Focus when brand new at Heartlands Ford, they did a fantastic job. Bristol Street re-sprayed my sisters bumpers.

As others have said... it doens't matter how good the finish is, if the colour is wrong!?

Just spoke to EH (as I need 2 covers aswell) they're £27.14 for the covers and he said about £30 each to paint them :|

Stevie i'll do this for you but i can't go to Pool mate.

I'll do some calls around see what quote i can get, the guys that are doing my side skirts that are already primed for £136.54. Including VAT.

Im sure if they just did the jacking point cover it won't be a lot all depends if they have the colour spare.

Do you know your Colour code on your car?

£16.88 on Ford Parts, no problem ordering (and posting to you) them for you but I don't have the time to get them painted. It was Chrisjs84 who had his sprayed by some chap called Chris in Blackpool, don't know where this sprayer is based.

Steve have you considered getting the skirts sprayed aswel It may end up being better cost wise todo that as they wouldnt have to order say half a ltr of paint for 1 jack cover and use 10ml when the skirts would take the full half a ltr too paint

i've thought about it but over here cheapest to spray both skirts is about 250-300 euros, doing that beats the whole point of buying cheap side skirts
