Yeh I loved that little car, drove like it was on rails simple mechanics and I only had to sell it cos insurance groups changed from 9 to 20 and the cost went through the roof for a 19 year old with a couple of surmishes and some point. Wish I had some photos of my actual one but it ws pre digital and I can't find any in the old shoeboxes to scan, maybe find some at my dads place when I go to do,some more sorting out.

Jeeeezus 9-20 is a bit drastic. They ever give a reason why?

I don't think he's meaning that it was actually changed from Group 9 to Group 20. At one point in the 1990's the actual number of insurance groups changed from 1-9 to 1-20 and this killed off many hot hatches - Ford ditched the XR2i for the dreary but insurance friendly Si for example. Of course now we have 50 insurance groups and not just 20.

Actually walked away from that without a scratch on me.

Although I still like those kind of cars, would easily have another of them again for fun like! Obviously not in the condition of my old one haha

I see i was in a mates car and we flipped that too and no one was hurt its surprising what people can walk away from!
