The week after xmas . Found out my rents are getting my springs for xmas so gonna get them done asap after! Need to ring about for quotes on doing it though. Kwik fit said 80 quid which I thought was a bit much <.< Might do the back 2 at home myself as it's only a 10 minute job.

U not got a mate who can fit them? I had mine done by the old man so saved some money there.

Well... realistically if I borrowed some spring clamps off someone from work I could do it myself, but if it's not too expensive to have it done I don't wanna piddle about in the cold weather :L. I'll do the rears myself cause that's a quick job, but the fronts a bit more in depth so i'll probably pay for that .

Nice one mate. As you said, rears are easy mate. You could take the front struts off yourselof and then get a garge to swap the springs over?

That way it's a 10 minute job and £10-£20.

Just out of interest Ash roughly how much would your garage charge for fitting springs? I'm guessing an hours labour or something?

Oooh that's a good idea Ash! Might have to do it that way .

Nice one Stevie, sounds better than £80 . £80 seems a bit over the top tbh :/.

We would probably charge £30 cash at our place, not much at all.

Li - Easy to take the struts off on the front mate, so it's a really easy way to get lowered and save some money lol.
