My dipped headlights don't seem to be turning on yet both my sidelights and my full beam are fine ? Checked the bulbs, fuses and relays and they are all fine. What could be the problem ?

When you checked the bulb, definately sure both filaments where intact? As I've had that a few times the filament looked fine yet a quick swap out of a bulb sorted it.

I assume you don't have a bulb spares kit to check either?

I'm sure, the bulbs look fine, I couldn't imagine both blowing at the same time either. Dont have a spare to check them unfortunately. Ford want 40 quid to plug in there diagnostic tool ! I will try a new bulb but don't think that's it

You could try belling the pins of the light to make sure power is getting to them before spending money on a bulb. Although if you was closer I'd easily give you a bulb as I have loads of them lying about lol

Also maybe check your fuse, although not sure if the hi and low will be on a seperate fuse

Hi and lo are different fuses

I will try get a bulb just to be on the safe side, failing that I will get someone to plug in a diagnostic tool (not ford !) Also I've checked the fuses

Just an update on this, turns out both bulbs blew at the same time. The filiments looked fine, strange !
