You wanna buy a subwoofer grill Ryan it protects the sub from getting pierced and cracked

oh yeah haha forgot about that,also I was thinking about having the sub facedown so I could keep the sparewheel as I travel alot and if I get a blow out the hole will be to big for tyre weld i guess? is there any cons of having in facing down?

Not really I had a 15inch audiobahn in my escort on a sheet of mdf that backed onto the seat an idea you could put 2 sheets of mdf together cut ya hole for ya sub then in the top cut another hole to sit a really really clean alloy in that covers the sub that way you still have a spare in the boot with enough room in the boot

Finished the build today just waiting for my headunit adapters so I can fit it all in one go
