Evening Nick.
I would suggest an oil change every 7,000 miles. With that in mind, I would change the oil and filter and leave it at that. Then, at your next service, do the oil, filter, fuel filter, and basic checkover.
If you intend to keep the car a while, there's no harm in you carrying out the services, but, keep receipts of all parts used and write it in your service book.
ALso, you shouldn't lose your paint warranty, as long as the car is serviced at regular intervals and the book is kept up to date. (May have to use Ford approved filters).

Hi Storm.
I'd just carry out an oil service tbh mate.
A big service basically changes the filters, oil, checks suspension and all other components and greases the doors etc.
So, keep the oil changed at approx. 7/8K, and then do a bigger service every other. Easy to do all yourself.
