February- i blew my rear left shock and shredded my tyre wall thanks to a impatient woman practically forcing me off the road.

March- i pulled away from a junction something snapped and clanged turned out to be my bearings in my diff, shortly after it blew completely.

March- travelling 50mph with full beams on around a mild bend with a hidden pot hole i blew my front right shock completely there is no resistance on the front right wing to bumps AT ALL. my tracking is lost somewhere in Nevada its that far out.

im driving her sensibly, but appears to be not enough.

not quite im looking for a diesel run around now, i thought i could get away with using the ST as the mpg isn't that bad and generally speaking it's not as expensive to fix as the GT-Four was.

Not quite but certainly fragile, getting sick and tired of continuously weaving and always looking out for pot holes.

I've been using the st constantly- 20,000 plus miles in two years and not had any problems like you have :S

seems massively unlucky

I thought you was looking into a VXR8 Stason? maybe it's time to upgrade?

Not cheap at 15k on average for 2nd hand one.

Scott the anoying thing is I can go and buy one now, I don't have any space on my drive, to fit and like yourself did look for lock ups but I couldn't justify 200 a month, 12 months of the year to keep it there. the money is sat there for one all of 18K, just waiting until I move out or get my own house but I'd like to keep the fiesta as well its a nice hatch back that money is most likely going towards a new house no doubt though.

That is bad news on the drive space. I totally understand though. I don't actually have a drive at all so always was a case of close friends helping out (to which i am very grateful Kev). Maybe you can get one in the future

if i had the land i would buy a big industrial shed and bung it in there.

time will tell if i do move out where rent is same as at home with a drive space free... Put it this way V8 is not a far fetched idea but keeping it on the road is where im asking questions.

VERY expensive to repair if something goes wrong i will be getting a warranty of some kind and various other insurances.
