So my Nurburgring trip is coming up pretty soon (end of may sooner than I thought) the Fiesta didn't sell so i've decided to get it up to Nurburgring standards ! If anyone has any suggestions for prep let me know! Just ordered some Apec discs and pads all round (recommended by Dan) and Eibach lowering springs - might get round to doing the bushes at the same time! So next up obviously is alignment and a decent set of tyres - Suggestions please Will make sure to get some pictures up of progress

Rear wheel spacers while your lowering it? Lighter alloys like pro race 1.2s. Depends how much you want to spend and what you want your car to do really. Power handeling etc

Tyres go for Avon zz3 I have them and a lot on here do aswel other mods would be KnN if you haven't al ready rear spacers and rear seats out a light set of wheels would be good if you wanna go that far just depends how much you wanna do
just seen your other post you could get a flexi pipe not a lot but will be a bit better of the Mark
Only engine wise modification i have is the mountune induction - maybe a flexi would be helpful might look for one second hand.
The Avons worth the price over T1Rs?

I might be selling my flexi if you're interested I'd go for avon zz3's for the tyres, got them on mine and can't complain at all. Other than that maybe a strut brace to stiffen up the front end a bit? Let me know how you get on with the brakes, might be changing mine soon

Avon ZZ3's are the muts. Also for strut brace I'm arranging a group buy in The Lot: http://www.fordfiestast.co.uk/favlinker....amp;postmarker=

What pressures would you suggest for a track day?

I'm back! been busy with work! So my springs and brakes have come - need to get the wheels off because i think i need new track rod ends so will check that this weekend as i put the new springs and bakes on! Pictures to follow ! To do list atm is - new set of plates (GB) - Tyres (still unsure which) - maybe a flexi? - oil/filter, PAS fluid and brake fluid change Need more suggestions which isn't going to cost a bomb! On another note my friend popped round the other day and he's brought a serious tool! will upload a pic!

Updaaate - Lowered her on the weekend she's much more grippy! wish i did dampers at the same time but oh well well chuffed with how it sits and drives now! Its firm but not overly firm reminds me a little of a standard CTR or my mates ITR now During - After - Better After Pic - To anyone thats thinking about it i suggest do it - cant get over the difference it makes in looks alone! Sorting my alignment and tyres this week then going to a open day at Curborough sprint track on the 15h i think! Should be fun!

Hey, just a quick one, how much does an average trip to the nurburgring cost?
I'm not looking to go mad, but possibly do a lap or two just to say i've been!
Planning a road trip to Monaco in August and Mrs is happy for the detour!

Sorry Boyde i didn't see this! in average you're looking to spend 500 in hotels and a 3day trip tbh with petrol being a bit careful. 1 lap - €26 a lap will do about 1/5 of a tank if you're really going for it! definitely do it if you can nothing compares to the atmosphere on a sunny day! Thought i'd update this as its only a week to go! getting my oil and gearbox oil changed later so will get some pics of how my car stands atm!
