From xsketchx Quote:
Meguiars Car Shampoo, Autoglym Clay Kit, Autoglym Paint Restorer, Meguiars Swirl&Scratch remover, Autoglym Super Resin Polish, Carnauba Wax (Blue bottle Silver lid) and to finish some Demon Show Shine.
I use Autoglym Vinyl Gel for the bumpers and stuff, makes them shiny shiny and Strawberry Foam dashboard cleaner from Halfords.

Rain X is ok but doesn't last long at all, what you need is some Gtechniq G1 Glass Sealant, it's amazing stuff and lasts forever (well 20,000-30,000 miles) Or if you do mostly town driving, ie. lower speeds and such you can use G3 as this repels water at lower speeds but doesn't last as long. The G1 is much more durable than the G3 though and the G3 doesn't like wipers as they tend to remove it. Another good glass sealant is Autobrite Repel This gets great reviews, especially for the repellancy at lower speeds

finally got round to placing an order, went for megs gold class shampoo as well as autoglym aqua wax. will slowly pick up more bits as i go. quick question tho, bought everything a week ago through eurocarparts to make most of the discount and have had nothing except order confirmation since. I knew it was bank holiday monday so expected a delay in dispatch but theyve still not dispatched it. anyone else had trouble with them in the past??

kenny: I haven’t got the power so must of been Chris or Scott
kenny: tried ebay etc, you can the gearbox so cheap now loads on ebay ]
JimboSlice: anyone know where i can get a gearbox filler plug? lol threads on mine are beyond knackered!
kenny: Do you mean the plug or the actual bolt with the thread on it
kenny: Thread on eBay starting at £6 to £18 the plugs 18mm 3 for £2.95 👍
Tford: Anyone know how to sort out front bumper sag on Mk7 st
kenny: There is a few YouTube vids which should show you how to lift the bumper back up
Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.
Kaxe: I hope you are all doing well!
kenny: hows the mk3 rs mate
_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
kenny: seems there is a data base error on the forum
Scotty: @Kenny - Can you see the topic threads again now please?
DAVE T ST: Hi, All, I was thinking about Kev today so thought I'd pop back to see how you all are
