Hey Guys, been visiting the site for a few weeks now, but signed up end of last week. hoping to become an owner in the not to distant future. I currently own a 206 GTI but am becoming a little bored with the poor french outfit and loose handling. Packs a punch but doesn't have all those little sporty qualites that the has. Of course as like many of you im sure, deciding what colour and options I want is the biggest problem I have at the moment. Im sad enough to say that I even have trouble sleeping. However ! I've managed to narrow it down. No black !! To hard to keep clean and doesn't show the lines of the car that well, No Blue - great colour but my GTi is the same already and I fancy a change. White with blue stripes looks good but again, keeping it lookin good would be a challenge for me. That leaves me with Silver and Red. The thing I like most about the silver is the way the light color makes the front air in take look really deep and smart but I dont think any stripes look good on silver, the colour just isn't sporty but ...I still like it. The red looks great too, and with the red I could have full stripes which are a real head turner plus im a champions of europe fan so it would make sense. Anyway after all that rattling on I put it to you guys......Silver or Red ?

Blimey you certainly have thought about it!! Also being a champions of europe fan I didn't even need to think about it, plus the sportiness of the car make red go really well I think, when I went to see my car it looked amazing. I had it without stripes, I don't think we've got a pic on here of one with full stripes but it might be an idea to look at one before you buy it! But anyway red gets my vote!

Welcome Layton! Glad you've decided to go with the red with full stripes. For a full striped car, with the standard coloured stripes, its one of my faves.

Hey mate, welcome to the forum, i have to say red But my fav colour for the ST is def white. Really suits the lines. Anyway, hope you enjoy the forum!

Definitely got to agree that red with full stripes is the way to go!

I can't find any pics of a facelift with full stripes at the minute, but there are dozens of pics of my pre-facelift one in that combination on this site, if you're just looking for a feel as to how those colours go together.
