Just FYI start giving it a 5min run each day ready for the summer as I used mine for the first time in a few weeks and it 'clunked on'
Seals need to be lubricated people so run your air con often!

It says in the manual to run it for at least 30 minutes per month. I've stuck to doing this every winter and never had any problems when summer comes around.

Aircon should be used for 20 minutes for every 500 miles......the seals can go if not, and the worst that can happen is the pump and aircon rad will blow up.

Mine seems to work after I got it regassed last year, compressor clunks on and off every 30-45 seconds or so, my old MK5 did the same thing.

I used Kwik Fit but its been clonking almost straight away after that (after he eventually found the filling valve (2 litre? Nah, they never did a 2l Fiesta!)).

Its definitely cool though. Do I need more gas then?

1.6 tends to be the standard engine size people at work think it is.

Do you have your 'recirc' button on all of the time Joddie If so, in certain conditions, if you don't have the windows down slightly, they will steam up because the system is recycling your exhaled breath.
