Looking for wind deflectors. Any difference/preference or recommendations on the above?

neither, took mine off before they ruined the motor, kept scratching the glass and water drips in when window down.

I have climair on my mk7, they're great plus they're ford approved =]
The heko ones seem to have a weird shape to them and just don't quite look right to me.

Are anyone elses like this though?

They all come with that cut out, however if I have them fitted so it's just tucked behind the plastic then the windows really, REALLY struggle to close. However if I have them like they are above then the windows go up perfectly.

It honestly will not go into the window any further.

I'll go take a picture now of the whole thing. But the rest of it is slotted totally into place. I am starting to wonder if something is actually lodged in my door though, the other side slides in further and the window still goes up perfectly.

Right, that's with some proper pushing (more than I've had to with other wind deflectors on other cars. The window still gets up but that deflector is in as far as humanly possible aha. That cu out now sits flush with it at it's deepest point.

Why do the ST ones have the cut out?

oh and they ruin the rubber at the bottom, and in the future they will just fall out as they warp with the weather.

I have a real downer on these things.
