Hi there and welcome to the site.

Thanks for the warm hearted welcome. Don't have any big plans for the car at the moment. Took quit a loss on the RX8 so don't have much funds. I did do a quick mod over the past few days. I shortened my shifter and man does it feel better in the hand. I'm a machinist by trade so can do a few things on the cheap. Maybe I'll post up some pics of it. Anyway Thanks agian for the warm welcome.

Get some pics up man did you cut the original shift stick down or make a new 1

I got a used shifter off ebay then cut 2 inchs out of the shaft just below the threads, than made a coller to fit between held on with set screws. It's worked out quit well. Would like to weld it together in the future and do away with the coller. I'll try get some pics up soon.
