Easy chap.
Good choice on ya motor mate...but you cant be a shiney white St though ;0)
The strips are £75 from ford and your local dealer should be able to fit them for a bit extra. (white would suit a black ST IMO)

Depends when you bought the car. If it wasnt you and "came out the factory" like that then Id take it back to them and they should give you a new wheel.

"Sold as seen" is what they would say mate. You could always have a look in the "thelot" section of this site to see if anyone is selling any rims, or ebay? or even ford but expect it to cost a fortune!

hey i got the same quote i just laughed at them and put the phone down... i did it online and it was 2000 loads but lots less than 3000 and cos i got half of it payed i could just about afford it. i was quite happy that polar ford gave me 2500 for my old car it was 51 reg but had high miles 51k and was a rust bucket so all in all it was ok.... hopefully the insurance will go down in time so how old are u?? and how much is insurance on your zetec s?

I'm 20 now when i was 19 £1500 now it's £1300 but..... The mod's i do to it go on the excess so works out cheaper for me than having the premium bumped up. lowering is going to add £50 to my excess which is £400 at the moment, For it to be added to a premium would be nearer £200, big saving, 3yrs no claims and garaged. have to go to a broker in basingstoke as that was a condition of getting the car, could get it 4 £800 no mods though belive it or not cheaper to insur than my 1.6 escort i had, it had K&n, peco backbox and a chip.

It's 2004 plate, i got it in feb 05, it was a showroom car and i wasn't fussed about a new reg, just wanted the car, that and there was something like a 18 week waiting list when i got it, paid £10000 for it fair bit knocked off coz it was showroom, didn't mind picked it up with 22 miles on the clock, less than some people have been getting delivery millage. Yes insurance is a crime, my first car was £2400 for a 1.1 97/ silver fiesta. gone full curcit, silver fiesta (not very good) Mk6 escort (nice but kept braking down) and now another silver fiesta which

The zs is fairly quick compared to other cars with similar engine size, my escort was quicker in a straight line but the zs anialates the twist roads, thats where it shines. Personally i don't think its that much slower in the twisties than the i'v managed to keep up with a few s but get to a straight and they are gone. only thing i will say is at the limit can be a bit nevous and you don't get much warning, i'v had understeer and then corrective oversteer in a right left coming off a roundabout before and it just went without warning, good fun though when you plan it. Can you post some pics when u get some? & back at cha bout the age thing,
