Bit of a random question but can you use hammerite paint to paint plastic? Its the stuff I used to paint my calippers

Is it the tin you have or the spray aerosol? If it's the tin then I wouldn't recommend it, it's nowhere near smooth enough to give a good finish. It looks good on calipers because they are rough to begin with so it smooths them out a bit. On perfectly smooth plastic though it would look poor. Especially as you use a paintbrush to apply it. Which plastics were you thinking?

This, depending on what plastic's you're doing, rattle cans are your friend!

Yeah its in a tin. I'll buy a spray can instead for painting lol. Thanks guys . I was going to paint some of the caps that are under the.bonnet like power steering cap.and ones like that

I tend to use wilkinsons own spray paints and i've found them to be reasonably priced and good quality.

The Range sell holts' colour coded aerosols too so I have a colorado red and moondust silver here.
