driveshafts/oil leaks - misting on pas rack a9 what the hell does that mean?? i got a check up on the car and that needs doing

Hmmmm is this from a printout by a garage on a report you had? going to have a guess and convert that into english.

Driftshaft boot or seal is leaking.

Misting on pas rack? no idea by the term misting but they've obviously found a fault with your PAS rack.

Who did the report?

Misting is weird, unless he means the fluid is knackered and is leaking somewhere?

it was done by ford mate near me, thats what the description is, fans nothing to me, but i rang them again and they said its nothing to worry about its hardly noticeable, and will last ages before anything goes wrong if anything does which they said is highly unlikely, was just an advisory comment but they said its nothing serious at all and nothing to worry about so I'm happy now ha
