when im driving along the red warning light will flash up in a split second followed by a high pitch beep. is this a service interval warning or no. any ideas really beggining to bug me now as it's started happening more recently.

Normally mate it's a warning that something is open does it not say in the trip screen what it is

Mine comes up on the trip screen what's open normally.

There are no other warning lights on on the dash? The only thig I've ever seen that light come on for is when it says 10miles on the trip or if you let it get much lower when the trip says 0miles like I got at brands hatch

No warning lights on and does it when I have half tank

No doors open. I should have said it comes and goes. Might not do it for a week and then it will have a spree of doing it all the time. Literally 1 flash of the red light and then noise

Well whenever i get a warning light it always beeps. But it should say on the trip computer what it is. If not get a diagnostic tool and plug it in to find out. Should only cost £20 for one

today i managed to see that when this beep occured it said boot open. i have opened boot and slammed shut. anyone got any ideas. could it just be a bad earth, loose connector or latch? not going to look while the weathers crap
