Anyone know the number one mods for a focus ST mk2 engine, was thinking a k&n panel filter for starters, is their much gain from this? Thanks

I was just going from dans response on the fiesta vs focus thread saying you can get 270 from panel ect

Its a bit more than just a panel filter to get u 270bhp mate

K&N panel filter is what mountune use in the MP260 kit and MR290 kit

to get 260-270bhp you need to change the intercooler and induction with a map

then to get up to about 300bhp full exhaust and a map

the intercooler is the key to power and torque, if you see the size of the standard intercooler you will see how small it is

Remap but you may aswel get an induction an an intercooler aswel lol that if I'm correct is the mp260 kit

Basically I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money just want it breathing abit better, would I see any difference with just a change of filter? Mpg wise aswell?

Check the one you have is clean is the absolute first step. The standard filter might be all clogged with leaves.
