Heres a little write up for my Sunday at Hackney Weekend

Left mine at about 8:30 for some brekkie at the cafe and then headed to the train station to get to Stratford. Total Journey Time - 20 mins
Once at Stratford we got a free shuttle bus to Hackney Mashes. We where told aboutt he long ques to get in for security checks and everything so we got there nice and early - 10ish the gate were gonna open at 10:30 -Well, we whizzed thru and was looking thru the merchandise stalls by 10:20
Got myself a silly hat for the day
1st up we went to the 1xtra stage to see Labrinth, who was very good for the 1st act of the day
After that we went to the main stage and had great weather, even blue sky!
Got quite close to the front too
We watched Pro Green
Plan B
And for some reason this guitar player Reminded me of Micky
Sure you wasn't moonlighting?
Jessie J - who was joined for one song by B.O.B
And a bit of Tinnie Tempah. After that we had a spot of lunch. £4 for a burger and £6 for some noodles that didn't get eaten
Had a wander about again and I fond a great puddle
Went back to the 1extra stage for a bit of Taio Cruz
Then we then hung about the main stage to see who this special guest was, turned out it was Dizzee Rascal
So we went to the dance arena to see David Guetta instead
And what a great choice! By far the best set of the day, as such a visual set as well as a deafening one
We got in and was right in the middle of the tent, it got packed very quickly after that and everyone was just chatting waiting for it to start
All of a sudden - BOOM! the music started with a defensing boom that made everyone jump a foot in the air
His set looked a bit boring at 1st
But once the music was going it all lit up
We eventually dragged ourselves away so we could get a good spot at the main stage for Rihanna and could still hear the base from the other side of the field
Didn't get quite as close to the stage this time...
But at least we wasn't at the back
Rihanna was great, loads of songs and was winding down and we couldn't see much so we moved back a bit towards the exit so we could see much better, although they looked a lot smaller
Loads of people started leaving but we wanted to stay till the end because we had a feeling someone was about to make an appearance...
And just as we thought, She started to sing and Jay Z come on stage! Talk about a reverse flood, everyone started running back to the stage
We stayed but I couldn't get a decent pic.
So finally it ended and we had to come home
But on the plus side, because I lived so close i was in by midnight
