When I had the I put a Clifford alarm on it, at the time the fitter could not make it operate the double locking so I use to have to double lock with the system then set the Clifford, in reverse it was Clifford off 1st then the get it the wrong way round and one system would set off the other. I believe they are now able to get the Clifford to do the double pulse to activate the double locking. I had a sound away sensor and also auto window closers which meant if you parked windows down got out setting the alarm closed them

You can have a clifford fitted with any sensors you wish, tilt, perimeter and prox internal radar. Leave the Ford system as it is, don't have the clifford working any ford systems, have it fitted independently just to work those, leave the ford fob to work the normal operations doors, boot etc.

Well worth the upgrade, so many people dont bother with any vehicle protection but spend thousands on making it more desirable.....

So you suggesting not even having the Clifford operate the standard central locking and simply have it set to just work the new alarm and sensors?
