I've just finished changing my headlight bulbs and my key fob will not lock my car, it is in fact UNLOCKING the car. lock and unlock now = unlock . Any ideas?

I can lock it with the key but that doesn't activate the 'alarm' does it =_=?

Any help appreciated

I don't think it's to do with the headlight bulbs....LOL?

But they were 100w 8500k xenons?

When you say xenons you mean like hids? Or just bulbs that say 100w xenon on the box and were cheap?

Not h1's are they? When I had my Audi drls the hod bulbs where absolutely crap gave pretty much next to no light at all! Stick with Philips blue visions or something is your best bet! As for the locking problem I don't know. Could take the bulbs out again and see what happens?

Yeah they are H1's LOL, and they do flipping all, I don't ever drive at night outside of town because I can't see unless the high beams on <.<

I got these cause they were 2 for £12 and are meant to be 'sooooooooooo bright'. Even though they're less bright than my 55w ones -_-.

That would involve taking the grille off and both lights out again . I'll try later if it doesn't sort itself out

just wondered if you'd left the negative off or anything and that that might effect it

Nah I haven't mate . I opened the door and looked and it's just going 'lock, unock' in like 1 second <.< I think the solenoid might be buggered? Gonna get a new battery tomorrow and go from there I think.

eh what ?

using the key sets the ford alarm too, you can double lock with the key also, can't remember how, something like turn one way and then the other straight after.
