Rite you are in a hall way facing a door, u cant see anything through the door or around the edges of the door.
There is a light switch next to you and it has 3 switches on it.
the light switch is approx 8 metres from the door.
U need to tell me what one of them light switches turns on the light on the other side of the door.

Rules:

U can only open the door once.
U can flick the switches as many times as u like but u need to give a methodecal answer to this brainteaser.
there is no other lights outside in the hallway.
Oh and no u cant re wire the switch or follow wires etc etc etc!!!

Yeah, good point. Just open the door, walk back to the switches and try them all. Then go through the door and close it - you've only opened it once.
Or use a torch and forget the light switch altogether

Its to do with the heat that the bulb gives off isn't it. Switch one on for a few mins and the bulb heats up, go into the rooms, the one that burns your hand is connected to that switch.

That's easy :- Flip any switch you want. wait for about 5-10 minutes to let the bulb heat up. Flip that same switch off, and another one on. Go check the light. If it`s hot, it was the first switch, if it`s on it was the second and if it`s cold and off, it was the last one.

But wont you need the torch to find the bulb if its in the dark
