I know we talked about this at the show, but for anyone else:

I recommend just cable tieing them on for several reasons.

Firstly i'm never going to tow my car with the strap, if it needs towing the proper eye will be back on.

Secondly, by using the towing eye you either use the large look there which would look weird (and is potentially illegal for road use?) or saw the eye off meaning you no longer have a proper metal tow eye.

Thirdly, most tow straps are too long IMO so by using a cable tie you can attach it further down behind the front bumper meaning less comes through the hole.
