Got to work this morning after a whole weekend off first time in over 10months to be told they are pulling out of the contract I work on and my job maybe at risk, looks like car may have to stay as it is untill I know what's going on.

Hope you can keep your job. If not try to see it as a possibility to experience a new job. Always helps to look at things in a positive way.

Lost my job when I lost my license in February and had to serve 18 days in house arrest with an electronic foot chain on my foot and worked 3 weeks for free doing garden work and stuff for a group of disabled people under my house arrest. But I stayed positive and joked about it and that helped me through it. Instead of thinking of all the negative sides of it.

Think positive and everything gets sorted in the end of the day

cheers for all the nice comments, got a one on one meeting in the morning so il let you all know how it goes. Worst cones to worst I still got my health. Anyway can always live in the fiesta.

Wasn't exspecting that! Bad news but good news, been told they want to keep me on putting me on a different contract and they want to fast track my hgv licence, theory, hazard perception and case study 2 is booked for the 23rd then straight in for driving test if I pass and they wana give me a £10 a day payrise, only bad news is no overtime on the weekend so il still be about £300 a week down but at least my misses will be happy to have me home getting fed up of 70-90 hour weeks anyway! and I still ahve a job.
