As some of you may know I mentioned a little while ago my bonnet had been keyed, well I had my suspicions as to who it was and I was right, turns out they guy who used to work for me who I sacked, is doing it.

He came up to work yesterday spoke with a supervisor who is one of my very good mates (he thinks he likes him also but he just civil to him) he told the supervisor that he had done purely because I sacked him.

I now found another key mark today on the side if the car, now my cars pretty dirty, so as you can understand it stood out like a sore thumb, so I knew its not been there already.

Now I've also found out he's passed his driving test and parks his car down the road to where I work for him to go college, it's very tempting for me to go and reall f**k up his car!

Basically I keep getting told to tell police, but what would they do? Bc if they go to his house, he'll just do something worse to my car! And prob just get a talking to if anything.

Dont go and do his car, we're not at primary school here, report it to the old bill and/or confront him, thats what i'd be doing!!!

Leave it be, especially as you've now just posted plans online!

however it would be awful if something did happen to his because you mentioned it to someone who gets a rush from being naughty and being on the wrongside of the law.

Lol I'm not planning on doing anything to his, I was just saying its tempting, I'm past all that nonsense.

I just basically wanted to know some views on what the police could or would do if I reported it? Cos I'm not going to be bullied into not bringing my car to work and me having to get bus or something.

If I see him up at work, I'm going to confront him about it, then ban him from the building, and poss report it.

Only problem with my colleague saying anything is they will prob see it as hear say, as I don't have full proof other than his word. I know he won't say something for just the sake of it, but the police don't know him so they might see it differently

I know how it feels to have your car keyed and I know exactly what I'd have liked to have done to the person responsible...

I didn't even bother going to the police when my car was keyed as they wouldn't have done anything. The difference here though is that you know who the culprit is... Talk to the supervisor and see if they'd be willing to go on record to the police.

Failing that is there no way you can catch him in the act now you know it's him? I guess that risks further damage though
