Yeah, and like i've pointed out with those threads in these threads before, after a month or two your pictures are lost into the many pages. If I now wanted to see Lee's mods for example it would be a PITA to trawl through those threads.

If we had a project area that only Mods could post stuff into then it could easily be monitored that the only posts in that area were project threads. Most people already have project threads on here in the forecourt so we'd be just relocating them into a new area

Which bit? A nice little project area or a whole new site upgrade? Ooooh, exciting.

I want more than just a basic project threads area, a proper garage area where you can add modifications as you do them and get to it from each person's profile like some other forums have is the best.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case. I'm not massively clued up on the inner workings of forums but I have a very rough understanding.
Any insider knowledge on any plans to update the site? It doesn't mean we have to change the layout or even the look for the major part, it's just a way of bringing the site up to date. The site is going to slowly decline relative to other places I would have thought.
And now we've all paid our yearly fee there may be funding in place to help a bit?

Oh yeah, definitely. This site and all the members are brilliant. And any massive overhaul wouldn't be welcomed. We definitely don't want to lose what we have. I didn't really mean degrade, that was a dodgy choice of words. I meant that relative to new fancy forums it will not be as good.
We're like an 80's video game. Fricking awesome, and everyone loves it, sure to be liked forever, but lacking the technicalities of modern games.
There are some glitchy bits of this forum that come up time and time again (search function pita, the unread responses number not counting right, etc).

kenny: Do you mean the plug or the actual bolt with the thread on it
kenny: Thread on eBay starting at £6 to £18 the plugs 18mm 3 for £2.95 👍
Tford: Anyone know how to sort out front bumper sag on Mk7 st
kenny: There is a few YouTube vids which should show you how to lift the bumper back up
Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.
Kaxe: I hope you are all doing well!
kenny: hows the mk3 rs mate
_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
kenny: seems there is a data base error on the forum
Scotty: @Kenny - Can you see the topic threads again now please?
DAVE T ST: Hi, All, I was thinking about Kev today so thought I'd pop back to see how you all are
