vented discs are perfect, your need some harder compound pads EBC red stuff are okay, but will cool down very quickly, they degrade as quick as your pads do, do not be put off though, they give peak performance on track and prolong fading/overheating.

The only downside to vented discs is you get a lot of vibration up the steering column and on the steering rack.

There shouldn't be any need for cold air feeds the wheel arch liners are designed to catch and vent air in and around the wheel it's self.

Remove the splash guards at the rear as well for better ventilation.

braided hoses (brake fluid cools quicker)

pas relocation kit

Air con removal kit

high performance engine coolant

shyte loads more you could do

its very easy Gary, each seat is bolted onto the bracket by 4 bolts, the brackets come out easily too but you need a larg torx bit

I do a few trackdays, and my car is pretty much standard. Unless you're entering racing championships you don't need to go too overboard, track sessions are about fun, and as my car is a daily as well I need it to ride well everywhere.

Mine has:
Standard discs, pagid pads, dot5.1 fluid
Toyo T1-R tyres
Cold air feed from passenger fog to air filter
Cold air feed from drivers fog to power steering reservoir
Lowered on Eibach suspension
12.5mm rear axle spacers
I stripped the back end of the car out for my latest session at Combe and it felt different, unsure just how much difference it made to cornering.

Make sure your fluids are topped up, tyre pressures are OK, and have fun. The ST is a very decent handling car out of the box, very little has to be done to make it better. At Combe earlier in the month, there were a number of standard ST's out on track having a laugh

I removed my aircon again purely cos i never use it - coming from driving older cars before the ST, u soon learn when your warm to just open a window lol

Polybushes are a great investment and really do tighten up the feel of the car, reducing weight is a no brainer although purely taking it from the back can make the car tail happy. If you are quite serious about it, relocating the battery to the boot will help weight distribution. Also good suspension and bracing helps along with some sticky rubber.

Its all down to budget tbh
