Took car outta garage this morning, put it in reverse brought clutch up and there was a loud bang noise from under the car and it sort of juddered!!! Checked floor of garage nothing there!! Took car for drive seems ok, put it in reverse again it didn't do it! Any ideas?

Could have been the handbrake stuck on

That was my thought jack mine hardly sticks only once when I had it detailed an I pulled it out after it was stood for a couple of days but the other week I left it on for 2 weeks an didn't bang

As above, that will almost definitely be the rear brakes sticking on even though you released the handbrake. It's nothing to worry about although if you don't like it, and your garage is flat, you can leave your car parked without the handbrake on and keep it in gear. Just don't forget when you start the car and shoot forwards.

i always had this when I had been through the car wash and left it standing still overnight or when have been through lots of puddles and the underneath of the car was wet and dried while standing still

Oh cool so nothing to panic about - never heard of it happening or had it happen to me before!!! I do come home from work late and last night it was really wet when I put the car in the garage!! Tonight I've not pulled the handbrake up very high see what happens tomorrow although dry tonight

this happened to me monday morning, sunday night i drove in the torrential rain put the handbrake on and monday morning as i moved away BANG, but i do have a sticky rear left caliper so that's not helping, the bang to worry about is the gearbox exploding lol
