I can't see any reasons why it shouldn't be possible. Other than being left hand drive, it is the same car after all! So its worth ringing someone to ask, you've nothing to lose.

I went to the Ford Garage today and argue with the person in change and after arguing he decide to call a specilaist from Ford to come and have a look cause they just don't know were to look, therefore wont do anything. I hope this will be useful!

My car seems to have the same problem. I've had it about 2 months but in the last 1-2 weeks 5-6 times it hasn't started first time (my last car a 10 year old Escort always started first time) Also have the thing where say you were doing 50-60 and come up to lights, drop thew clutch just below 10 mph on the clock it drops the revs down to about 600 then it pops up to about 1,500-1,900 and dips again. So I'll be booking it in for this update which'll hopefully fix that.

I see some of you think the car is more rippy after that? I hope so because the car seems a tad slow for a small car w/ a 2 litre 150 bhp engine! My old 1.6 Escort seemed faster and more fun! If it doesn't change much soon I think'll have to trade it in for a something else which is a shame 'cos it looks nice.

Not sure, something a bit bigger, maybe a 3 series BM (thoguh the newer ones are a bit ugly!) something a bit more beefy, wish the new focus looked a bit nicer... ANy suggestions?
