hi just after a bit of help iv got an 05 fiesta can anyone tell me what the small air box is that comes off of the main air pipe,
from the main air box to the engine it has a holding pin that ataches it to the bottom of the main air box thanks

standard air box has at least one if not two small resonator boxes within the pipework.

cheres would it matter if i took these out as im looking at samco pipe work and none seem to have an outlet on them for this box ?

don't think anyone knows what these do other than control the tunes a little when on full throttle, anyone ?

im just looking at upgrading my pipes to samcos but it would mean removing this box

I always thought the box was there to hold air so when you put ur foot down you can get an instant draw of air straight out of it for better throttle response?? Or am I wrong
