How about this then when I brake my headlight indicator on the dashboard lights up! All the other lights and stuff work perfectly fine only seems to have started doing it since I went for led brake light bulbs

Sounds like the bulbs might be in the wrong way or there's an earth fault could just be that the circuitry in the LED is making the car think the sidelights are on when you brake.

They won't be in the wrong way they're exactly the same as normal bulbs except for the bulbs their selves. I'm thinking a dodgy earth may be the problem

LEDs have to be put in the correct way round

There's only one possible way for them to go in which works?

right little update I've fixed it!

Basically i bought 10 7.5 fuses on ebay so i could have a proper go at fixing it.

The problem was one of my number plate bulbs as they run on the same circuit i took one out it looked fine the bulb was still good but when taking the other out the bulb just fell out along with the bit that holds it in place as soon as i'd unscrewed the holder.

It looks as though over time shutting the boot etc had dislodged it causing it to short circuit and blow the fuse so sorted that replaced the fuse and now its all good

Cheers for your help people
